Help a Child New Zealand
Help a Child New Zealand [HaCNZ] is part of a worldwide organisation which was established
in the Netherlands in 1968. Our aim is to assist children in developing countries faced with
poverty, discrimination and disease.
Mission
Help a Child wants to support children with little or no chance of a dignified existence.
Since we are a Christian organisation, we believe that the Biblical notion of love should
be the leading principal in relationships between people.
Vision
Our assistance will be focused on children in developing countries faced with personal
circumstances of poverty, discrimination, disease, etc. and on children who are victims
of natural disasters. Our help aims at giving children a chance to build their lives and
be freed from poverty.
HaCNZ supports children in need, independent of their background, caste, colour, creed or
gender. We do so with:

- Sponsorships / Financial adoption or fostering
- Community Based Care
- HIV / Aids Awareness, Help and Prevention Programs
- Assisting parents to provide for their children
- Project Help
- Education
- Counseling
- Advocacy
- Physical and Spiritual Aid
- Awareness of need in developing countries
